I am a partner in a small general practice firm with offices in New Jersey and New York.   A majority of my practice is focused on private criminal litigation in New Jersey and New York State Courts.  I have tried approximately one hundred felony jury trials during my career.  I am also a member of the Assigned Counsel Plan-Appellate Division, First Department and I am Certified (1997 – Present) to handle misdemeanors and felonies in Bronx County as a court appointed attorney.  I also handle traffic matters in town courts throughout Northern New Jersey and Southern New York State, as well as federal criminal litigation in both states.  I have been a Municipal Prosecutor in New Jersey from 2001 until 2019. I have been Borough Attorney for Lincoln Park, New Jersey since 2014. I also handle personal injury litigation and real estate matters.

I am the Municipal Prosecutor for Town of Boonton, New Jersey where I am responsible for prosecuting minor criminal offenses, traffic violations and zoning matters.

I was the Municipal Prosecutor for Montville Township, New Jersey for 5 years where I was responsible for prosecuting minor criminal offenses, traffic violations and zoning matters.

Municipal Prosecutor, 2001 – 2013

I was the municipal prosecutor for Lincoln Park, New Jersey for 13 years handling minor criminal offenses, traffic violations and zoning matters.

Borough Attorney, 2014 – Present

I am the Borough Attorney for Lincoln Park, New Jersey handling various litigation issues, OPRA matters, employee issues, etc., and advising the Mayor and Council on such legal issues as they arise.

Special Litigation Counsel, 2019 – Present

I serve as special litigation counsel for the County of Morris handling various litigation issues, providing legal research and legal opinions for Morris County Counsel and the Board of Chosen Freeholders. 

Staff Attorney, 1991 – 1997

I represented thousands of indigent-defendants during this time period.  I conducted approximately twenty jury trials.  I handled every aspect of a criminal case on a daily basis, including court appearances, motion practice, plea negotiations, investigations, pre-trial suppression hearings, investigations, etc.
