Dog bite attorney

If a person has been injured due to a dog bite, they may want to speak with an attorney who specializes in personal injury. An attorney understands how important it is for dog owners to always have their dog under control. When a dog is not properly restrained it can cause serious injuries to a person in a short amount of time. These injuries can be long-lasting and require extensive medical care. An attorney can help their client by establishing who the owner of the dog is. They will also establish the full extent of their client’s injuries, including lasting scars and permanent nerve damage and loss of movement.

A person who has suffered a dog bite has the legal right to hold the owner responsible. Compensation may be available for medical expenses, pain and suffering, future medical expenses and other damages.
